Just because the holidays are over, doesn’t mean your home needs to feel bare! Here are a few quick tips to try with your home decor when making the jump from “Holiday” to “Winter” themes.
- Keep the greens!
- Put away anything that is DIRECTLY related to a holiday, but keep the things that aren’t!
- Greens are good, so are woodland animals (ex: deer), ice-y decor, and sparkle are also a great way to keep that winter feeling!
- Adjust your decor to make sure it doesn’t look like there are empty spots that are missing something.
- Slowly pare down the rest of your decor as spring gets closer. This makes the transition feel more manageable and less like a HUGE JOB that needs to get done IMMEDIATELY 🙂
